New program helps low-vision patients more safely navigate their home environments

Nashville was the host city for the recent Health Occupations Students of America leadership conference and the Vanderbilt Eye Institute was invited to host a competition.

Sylvia Groth once commuted to work on cross country skis to keep an appointment with her patient. As a native Minnesotan, a little snow couldn’t stop her.

Her dedication earned her a Patient and Family Choice Award.

Vanderbilt Eye Institute debuts new Murfreesboro location

Vanderbilt Eye Institute (VEI) and local dignitaries came together last week for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of VEI’s new location in Murfreesboro.

Discovery Lecture featuring Sánchez Alvarado returns to in-person format

Alejandro Sánchez Alvarado, PhD, executive director and chief scientific officer of the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas City, Missouri, will discuss tissue regeneration at the next Discovery Lecture, in person on Thursday, March 24 in 208 Light Hall.

New Clinician Spotlight: Avni Finn
