2003 Open Enrollment begins Oct. 2

Vanderbilt Open Enrollment, the time of year to elect benefit changes for 2003, is Oct. 2-18. The annual Benefits Fair will be held Oct. 10-11, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., in rooms 2701-2704 TVC, where vendors will answer questions regarding the various health care and dental plans, retirement savings opportunities, personal spending accounts, life and accident insurance, and long-term care insurance.

Human Resources representatives will answer questions at open forum sessions. The dates, location and times of the open forums are Oct. 1, TVC 2702-2703, 11 p.m. – midnight; Oct. 2, 411 Light Hall, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.; Oct. 3, 189 Sarratt, noon – 1 p.m.; and Oct. 4, 411 Light Hall, noon – 1 p.m.

Benefit Representatives will also be available for questions and to collect OE forms at designated drop-off sites. Throughout the OE period, there will be two drop boxes for OE forms available in the lobby of Sarratt and Medical Center North for persons with no questions.

Designated drop-off sites, manned by HRS representatives, are Oct. 7-9, Courtyard Café, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (with vendors); Oct. 10-11, TVC 2701-2704, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Benefits Fair); Oct. 14, 415 A-B Light Hall, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Oct. 14, Courtyard Café, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Oct. 15, 412 Light Hall, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Oct. 15, Courtyard Café, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Oct. 17, 345 Sarratt, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Oct. 18, TVC 2702-2703, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. (with vendors).

Open Enrollment forms must be returned to Benefits Customer Service by 5 p.m. on Oct. 18.
