Kelly and Nick Wiggins hold their infant son, Brison, who was the 500th child at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt to be placed on ECMO, or Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation, when his lungs failed to work properly after birth. Brison was discharged from the neonatal ICU this week and is now home in Bolivar, Tenn.
