Vanderbilt University Medical Center is again a presenting sponsor of All About Women.

The annual health and lifestyle event, now in its third year, happens today and tomorrow at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days. Admission is free and free parking is available at Opry Mills Mall.

The event includes a wide variety of free activities and information related to women’s health, including screenings, seminars and demonstrations focusing on better health, fitness and overall wellness. Topics include: nutrition and healthy eating; parenting; early cancer detection; belly dancing; yoga; learning which heart disease symptoms are more common in women; and finding out what kinds of questions to ask doctors.

All About Women was launched in 2003 to increase awareness and literacy of women's health issues. For more information, including a list of free services and schedules of presenters, go to www.allaboutwomentn.org.
