Dr. Jeffrey R. Balser, James Taloe Gwathmy Clinician-Scientist Chair, professor and chair of Anesthesiology, has been appointed as an associate editor of his field’s leading journal, Anesthesiology, published by the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
The 30 or so associate editors review submissions and forward recommendations to the journal’s editors.
The current editorial board is drawn from six countries on three continents. Balser’s renewable two-year term begins Jan. 1.
