Robert D. Beauchamp, M.D., John Clinton Foshee Distinguished Professor and chair of the Section of Surgical Sciences, was recently named a Life Member of the Fellows Leadership Society of the American College of Surgeons.
Founded in 1988, the Fellows Leadership Society is the College's distinguished donor recognition organization.
In its 17-year history, the society has raised more than $15 million for surgical resident research scholarships and faculty fellowships. Beauchamp became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1992. q
