The Vanderbilt Medical Center Sewing Club has published “Salads-Just Salads,” a cookbook consisting of low-fat recipes.
Club members meet and sew special projects for the Medical Center, including specialized surgical drapes, trach covers, wheel chair bags, and infant caps. The group’s lunches inspired the members to publish a cookbook.
The illustrated cookbook is available at the Medical Center Gift Shop on the hospital mezzanine. The cost is $10, and proceeds will benefit the hospital.
