Brown takes Pediatric research post
Clint Brown has been named assistant director of Pediatric Research Administration in the Department of Pediatrics.
Brown previously served as manager of Grants Administration and Electronic Research Administration in Vanderbilt's Office of Research.
“I am so very pleased that Clint has accepted this position,” said Mumtaz Darbar, chief financial officer for Pediatrics. “My enthusiasm and confidence in his abilities to help foster an environment of excellence in supporting our missions of research and discovery is immense.”
Brown will be responsible for the oversight of the research administration office and will handle the pre- and post-grant administration for the department.
Brown holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Tennessee State University and is a Certified Research Administrator by the Research Administrators Certification Council.
