Cancer Survivor Brandon Schadt, a history major at Belmont University, was among the speakers at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center retreat, held Tuesday at the Student Life Center. The annual event brings together researchers, physician scientists and clinicians from Vanderbilt and Meharry Medical College, along with invited speakers and cancer survivors, to present and discuss some of the latest advances in diagnosing and treating cancer. This year’s retreat focused on genomic instability in cancer.
