Brian Carter, M.D., associate professor of Pediatrics and a neonatologist at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, has compiled a book that is a guide for practitioners when making decisions regarding palliative care in children.

The book is listed on the Johns Hopkins University Press and is titled Palliative Care for Infants, Children and Adolescents.

Reviewer Gregory Kato, M.D., with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, called the book, ”A comprehensive look at pediatric palliative care. It should be a reference textbook that serves as a ‘bible’ in this area. A great addition to the field.”
