The Vanderbilt University School of Nursing recently hosted a special speaking event for preceptors, faculty and students. Barbara Safriet, J.D., L.L.M., right, with VUSN dean Colleen Conway-Welch, Ph.D., spoke about “Safe Practice: From the Clinical Setting to the Courtroom,” discussing the availability and efficient use of nurse practitioners in the evolving health care delivery system.
