The Children's Miracle Network's Telethon continues to break records in fundraising for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. The June 2-3 event raised $1.65 million (as modeled at left by Children’s Hospital Child Ambassadors). Last year's total was $1.4 million. The 25th annual telethon was broadcast on NewsChannel 5 with on-air personalities including news anchors Vickie Yates and Rhori Johnston as hosts, and featured inspiring stories and interviews with patients, families, faculty and staff.
