The inaugural Tennessee Youth Triathlon, sponsored by the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and the Greater Nashville Athletic Club, took place June 7 on the Vanderbilt campus. Eighty-seven youths, age 7 to 14, participated in the event, including Dylan Lee, 11 (top photo) who competed in a 2.7-mile bike race through campus, and Rebecca Asher, 12, who took part in a 2-mile run on the Vanderbilt track.
