PonJola Coney, M.D.
Meharry Medical College's PonJola Coney, M.D., senior vice president of Health Affairs and dean of the School of Medicine, has been named to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Advisory Committee on Research on Women's Health.
Coney is one of 18 members charged with advising the director of the Office of Research on Women's Health on appropriate research activities that should be the focus of the national research institutes.
Members serve four-year terms.
