Michael Cookson, M.D.
Michael Cookson, M.D., associate professor of Urologic Surgery, was recently selected as a section editor for Cancer, the interdisciplinary, international journal of the American Cancer Society. Cookson will serve as editor for the journal in the area of genitourinary disease.
Cookson will serve a three-year term reviewing and ushering submitted manuscripts through the peer-review process, promoting the journal and identifying and encouraging the submission of high-quality manuscripts.
