The Vanderbilt School of Nursing employer-based clinics in Clarksville/Mont-gomery County recently received the Point of Pride Award from the county school board.

The group cited the dedication of the nurse practitioners and staff in launching the program and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from employees who have visited the clinic for on-the-job care. The main clinic opened in January with satellite clinics scheduled to open this spring.

An anticipated 6,300 employees plus their dependents can receive primary care, wellness and preventive care services as part of this partnership.
