David Mills has joined the Office of Community, Neighborhood and Government Relations as Assistant Director for State Policy and Legislative Affairs.
Mills will work with Betty Nixon and her staff on issues important to Vanderbilt, government and community partners, with a focus on health care and the Medical Center.
Mills worked for Huffman Bedford Consulting Group, Inc. six years as a principal before coming to Vanderbilt. Prior to that he worked in Gov. Ned McWherter’s administration and as a legislative assistant to Tennessee House Speaker Pro Temp Lois DeBerry of Memphis.
