Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital chaplain, the Rev. Raye Nell Dyer, has been awarded board certification in her field.

Last month, Dyer participated in certification ceremonies at the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) annual meeting in Dallas.

A Board Certified Chaplain has demonstrated excellence as a chaplain, has completed eligibility requirements, has been recommended by a State Certification Committee, approved by the Commission on Certification, and ratified by the APC Board of Directors.
