Corey Slovis, M.D., and the staff of Vanderbilt Medical Center's Department of Emergency Medicine are recipients of this year's Anne Maier Service to the Community Award.
The award is named in honor of Anne Maier, the first executive director of the Nashville-based Comprehensive Care Center, and annually recognizes extraordinary dedication to community service by providing care to people affected by HIV/AIDS and through intervention and public health awareness efforts.
