Vanderbilt's Employee Celebration Month 2006 kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 5. The monthlong event honors Vanderbilt staff and faculty for their service, and begins with a day of festivities on Library Lawn.

Free hot-air balloon rides will be offered during the kickoff, as well as door prize drawings and entertainment by musical acts including Jennifer Brantley and The McKaskles. A dunking booth will also be in operation all day, featuring administrators from the University and Medical Center. For a $1 donation, staff and faculty can get three shots at dumping administrators in the drink, with proceeds benefiting the Employee Assistance Hardship Fund.

Throughout the month, a variety of free special events will take place.

The following is a list of events for Employee Celebration Month 2006, however some times, events and locations are subject to change. Check online for updates and changes at www.vanderbilt.edu/employeecelebration.
