The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt has launched a support group for families coping with epilepsy.
The free, informative meetings are open to the public and will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. at Children’s Hospital.
The group meets in the Family Education Room in the Junior League Family Resource Center on the second floor of Children’s Hospital.
The upcoming Aug. 9 meeting will feature nurse and community educator Caroline Roche West, who will offer information on seizure precautions and first-aid.
