Event to benefit hardship fund

The Needles and Pins Crafts Fair is set for Sept. 30 – Oct. 1 in the third floor breezeway between the Robinson Research Building and Light Hall.

The event, sponsored by the Medical Center Staff Advisory Council (MCSAC) brings local artisans to Vanderbilt in an effort to raise money for the MCSAC grant program as well as the Faculty and Staff Hardship Fund.

This year's event will feature the Chili Café and an online auction, available at http://www.idonatetocharity.org/store/1VPNPnCC/.

The MCSAC grants program has helped raise funds for numerous initiatives at VUMC that would otherwise be unfunded.

Funds awarded are intended to benefit staff, faculty, patients and/or Vanderbilt-affiliated community projects.
