Chang Yu, Ph.D.

Chang Yu, Ph.D., joined the faculty of Vanderbilt University Medical Center Jan. 12 as an assistant professor of Biostatistics. He is also the director of Biostatistical Research for the General Clinical Research Center at the Medical Center.

Previously, he was a Senior Biometrician for Merck Research Labs. He was a Biostatician at Yale University School of Nursing in New Haven, Conn.

He received his Ph.D. in Biostatistics at Yale University, as well as two M.S. degrees at University of Southern Maine and University of Minnesota.

His research focuses on analysis methods for correlated binary data, permutation tests, double sampling methods, drug responder analysis, and general methods for clinical trials.
