Joel M. Harp
Joel M. Harp, Ph.D., research assistant professor of Biochemistry and director of the Biomolecular Crystallography Facility, joined the Vanderbilt University Medical Center faculty in September.
He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Previously, Harp was assistant professor of Research at the University of Virginia since 2001. From 1985 to 2001, he was a senior research associate at the University of Tennessee’s Graduate School of Genome Science and Technology.
Harp has authored or co-authored more than 20 scholarly publications, as well as more than 10 abstracts.
