Helen E. Hatfield recently joined the Vanderbilt University Medical Center faculty as an associate in Psychiatry.
Hatfield graduated from Michigan State University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2002 with a Master of Science degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Specialty.
Hatfield has worked as a research nurse in the OCD/Tourette program at Vanderbilt since 1993. She has also worked as a staff nurse at regional hospitals in Tennessee for several years.
She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau, International Nursing Honor Society.
