Gerald D. Frank, Ph.D., joined the faculty of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Jan. 4. He is a research assistant professor of Biochemistry.
For the past five years, he has served as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Biochemistry. Frank received his Ph.D. in Physiology from Meharry Medical College. Frank has authored 20 articles.
His research interests include identifying vascular targets and their signal transduction mechanisms that lead to vascular remodeling associated with hypertension, atherosclerosis and diabetes.
