Susan Smith, M.D.
Susan E. Smith, M.D., has joined the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center as assistant professor of Clinical Medicine. Specializing in medical oncology and breast cancer, Smith sees patients at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Cool Springs.
Smith comes to Vanderbilt after serving as assistant professor of Clinical Medicine in the Breast Cancer Program at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. She is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
Smith did her undergraduate studies at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N.M., and received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. She went on to complete an internal medicine residency and an oncology fellowship at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson.
