Fall Faculty meeting scheduled for Oct. 1
The Fall Faculty Meeting will take place at 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 1, in room 208 Light Hall.
Harry Jacobson, M.D., vice chancellor for Health Affairs, will use VUMC's five elevate pillars — people, service, quality, growth and finance — as an outline for his speech measuring the Medical Center's progress and highlighting goals for 2008.
Faculty can expect to hear remarks about employee, physician and patient satisfaction, patient volumes, research, revenue and income and updates on the 100 Oaks move, outreach strategy, and VMG Williamson growth and new campus facilities such as the VUH critical care tower phase II, MRB IV, the Eye Institute and Cancer Clinic expansion.
A reception will be held in the North Lobby following the meeting.
