Members of the Nashville Fire Department surprised Corey Slovis, M.D., this week with a visit to acknowledge his long support of automated external defibrillator (AED) use. Among the gifts presented to Slovis were an AED to be placed in a building of his choice and a commemorative plaque honoring Slovis’ late father, Dr. Leonard Slovis.
