Arthur Fleischer, M.D., professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, was honored last week for his longstanding commitment and dedication to continuing medical education.
Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Dean Steven Gabbe, M.D., and Don Moore Jr., Ph.D., director of Continuing Medical Education, presented Fleischer with a plaque commemorating his 30 years as course director of the Diagnostic Sonography Symposium, held last week in Light Hall.
Last year, Fleischer was honored with the Frank H. Boehm Award for Excellence in Teaching; Contributions to Continuing Medical Education.
