Donald Gass, M.D., and his wife, Margy-Ann, were on hand recently for the unveiling of a portrait in his honor. Gass, professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Emeritus at VUMC, received his M.D. from VUSM in 1957 and in 1999 was named one of the 10 most influential ophthalmologists of the 20th century by the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
