At the beginning of July, Vanderbilt University Medical Center welcomed 272 new house staff, made up of 190 residents and 82 fellows.

According to Donald Brady, M.D., associate dean and director of Graduate Medical Education, the new group is Vanderbilt’s largest yet. Before they began caring for patients, new house staff had a weeklong orientation.
