Jay Grosfeld, M.D., chairman, emeritus, of Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine, will deliver this year's George W. Holcomb Jr. Lecture in Pediatric Surgery.
He will speak on “Neuroblastoma — the Enigmatic Childhood Tumor” at 7 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, in 208 Light Hall.
Grosfeld served as director of Pediatric Surgery and surgeon-in-chief of Riley Children's Hospital for 33 years. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Pediatric Surgery, Seminars in Pediatric Surgery and the textbook “Pediatric Surgery.” He currently serves as the president of the American Surgical Association.
This is the 14th annual Holcomb lecture. It is presented by the Department of Pediatric Surgery in honor of George Holcomb Jr., M.D., clinical professor of Surgery emeritus.
