The society is the donor group for Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and was named for Julia Hereford, the 1936 graduate and dean of VUSN from 1949 to 1965.
Viselli, an acute care master’s student, was awarded the Julia Hereford Society Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year and will finish her coursework in August.
