The Health and Human Resources Committee for the Tennessee House of Representatives came to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital on Jan. 27 for a rare “field trip” away from Capitol Hill. The 22-member committee and staff members toured with physicians and hospital administrators. It was the first time anyone could remember the committee meeting away from Capitol Hill. The visit was coordinated by Betty Nixon, David Mills and Margie Naylor of the Vanderbilt University Office of Government Affairs and LaTonya Ellis, with the House committee.
