‘Light the Night’ planning under way
The annual Light the Night Walk benefitting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has been set for Oct. 1 at LP Field. Once again, Vanderbilt will have its own team participating in the fundraising event.
Honorary co-captains for the 2009 event are Madan Jagasia, M.D., and Utpal Davé, M.D. The kick-off luncheon for those interested in participating is Wednesday, July 29, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center conference room 898J, Preston Research Building. Participants will learn more about the walk, including fundraising ideas.
