London meet to focus on Down Syndrome

A group of faculty and staff from the Down Syndrome Clinic at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt will be traveling to London to participate in an international Down Syndrome Medical Conference March 31-April 1.

The conference, “Bright Beginnings for Children with Down Syndrome,” will include sessions for parents of children with Down Syndrome and medical professionals.

Robert Van Dervoot, M.D., medical director of the Down Syndrome Clinic, will discuss how the clinic was formed and what services it provides to patients and families.

Romney Snyder-Croft, Down Syndrome program support, will co-present “Down Syndrome from a Parent's Perspective.”

Other Down Syndrome experts from top medical centers in the United States will also present at the conference.
