Moore honored for CME contributions

Don Moore, Ph.D., professor of Medical Education and Administration and director of Continuing Medical Education at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, has received the 2010 Distinguished Service Award from the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (CME).

The award recognizes outstanding leadership and lifelong contributions to the profession of continuing medical education.

“I was honored to be selected for the award,” Moore said. “An award like this does not represent the accomplishments of one person. So I am grateful to everyone whose work has made my contributions possible. ”

The Alliance for CME is a membership organization that provides professional development opportunities for CME professionals and advocates, and strives to improve health care outcomes.
