Joyce Mosier has been appointed to the position of Interim Director of Case Management effective March 15. Mosier has been with Vanderbilt Hospital since 1996 and became Director of Utilization Management in 1999.
“Mosier has functioned as an excellent leader and has been extremely effective,” said Mark Penkhus, executive director and CEO of Vanderbilt University Hospital. “She is a valued resource for utilization management throughout the institution and assumed additional responsibilities for insurance management in 2000.”
In the last year, Mosier has become an integral part of the Case Management leadership team and has strengthened collaboration between the Case Management and Utilization Management staffs. Mosier will work closely with Wendy Leutgens, new Assistant Hospital Director for Clinical Services Access, to provide stability and continuity for the Case Management program.
