Two fellows in Neonatology have recently won awards.
Kimberly Shimer, M.D., was awarded the Ira M. Rosenthal Memorial Travel Grant from the Endocrine Society. This grant is awarded to the highest scoring abstract in endocrine genetics submitted by a fellow to the Endocrine Society Annual Meeting.
Jorn-Hendrick Weitkamp, M.D., a fellow in Neonatology, was selected as a recipient of the Young Investigator's Travel Awards Program, an initiative sponsored by the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) and Dey L.P.
