New Pediatrics Web site launches

The Department of Pediatrics has launched a new Web site designed as a resource for medical professionals, prospective students and researchers, and for the department’s faculty and staff.

“This new site addresses important academic and clinical issues for all our students, residents and faculty and is interwoven with the Children’s Hospital site for all our families and patients,” said Jonathan Gitlin, M.D., chair of the Department of Pediatrics.

“This seamless integration of discovery and compassionate care is what makes maternal and child health at Vanderbilt so unique.”

Each division within the Department of Pediatrics is represented with information about research, education and patient care missions, as well as accomplishments of the faculty.

A research section highlights the work being done by department faculty and provides information about the resources available within the department and the larger Vanderbilt community. There is also information about funding resources and other research support.

An education section showcases the training opportunities available in Pediatrics, providing detailed information for medical students, residents, fellows and continuing education for professionals.
