New Vanderbilt Cool Springs clinic opens

With a special focus upon customer service and convenience, a new clinic in Williamson County will serve families south of Nashville and beyond.

Vanderbilt Cool Springs recently opened to offer care for families whose children need to see a pediatric subspecialist.

The clinics include pediatric endocrinologists who, among other things, treat a growing number of children with type-two diabetes. Drs. Deanna Aftab-Guy, Revi Mathew, William Russell, Joel Steelman and Jennifer Najjar and nurse practitioners Cindy Lybarger and Ann Vander Woude will see patients at Vanderbilt Cool Springs twice a week.

Dr. Thomas Graham, director of pediatric cardiology at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, will hold cardiology clinic at the center.

Eating disorder specialist Dr. Ovidio Bermudez will also see patients there as well as childhood development specialist Dr. Robert Steven Couch.

“We’ve had a great response from patients so far,” said Cynthia Biggers, practice manager.

“There is plenty of convenient parking in front of the clinic. There is an imaging center in the building and even a surgery center which can be used when appropriate.”

The clinic is located at 2009 Mallory Lane, Suite 230, across the street from the Cool Springs Galleria.
