Brett Evilcizer talks with VUMC’s Dr. Jeffery Sonsino about the new vision-improving device called the Jordy that was donated to him this week at the Ophthalmology clinic. Evilcizer has a rare disorder that has harmed his eyesight. Vanderbilt’s chapter of Delta Gamma helped raise the $2,000 needed to purchase the device, which improved the 21-year-old Evilcizer’s vision from 20/300 to 20/32. The device uses a camera to project images onto two small TV screens inside the monitor. (photo by Anne Rayner Pollo)
