The second annual Night of Jade, benefiting Jade's Fund, was held Sept. 10 at the Factory at Franklin.

More than 450 people attended the event, presented by Franklin American Mortgage.

Jade's Fund is a foundation created in 2000 to honor the memory of Jessica and Irvin Pasley's daughter, Jade, who lost her battle with leukemia in 2000 at age 2.

The fund helps families served at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt through the childhood cancer program at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.

Donations are still being counted, but the $100,000 fund-raising goal for the event is expected to be met, according to Jessica Pasley, co-founder of the fund and event.

Contributions to Jade's Fund should be sent to VICC Gift Records, VU Station B 3577727, Nashville, Tenn., 37235-7727 or by calling 936-0233 for more information. q
