Nominations are now being accepted for the University’s 17th Affirmative Action and Diversity Initiatives Awards program, which will be held Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 3 p.m. in the Branscomb South Dining Room.

The program will recognize employees and students who support Vanderbilt’s commitment to equity and diversity.

The awards will be given in two categories: efforts for supporting affirmative action and diversity efforts at Vanderbilt, and support or promotion of opportunities for persons with disabilities at Vanderbilt.

Individual nominees may be regular, full-time staff, faculty or students, or recognizable groups composed primarily of such individuals. Opportunity Development Center staff, academic deans and general officers are ineligible.

Ballots are due Sept. 8 at the Opportunity Development Center, VU Station B #351809.
