Nurse Alerts! set to provide timely information

Vanderbilt nurses have a new communication tool called Nurse Alerts!

These subscription e-mail announcements are designed to provide timely updates on a variety of issues important to nurses.

“The wide geographic area we cover across the Medical Center, plus the variety of work shifts and schedules, can make getting timely information to nurses difficult,” said Sherri Stringfellow, Web manager and art director for Nursing Education and Development. “Our goal is to have several different communication tools to help our 4,000 nurses feel connected.”

Nurse Alerts! are not distributed on a regular basis, but only when important information and updates are available.

To enroll, have your VUNet ID and password handy and visit www.vanderbiltnursing.com.

Nurse Alerts! will be sent to Vanderbilt email addresses only.
Subscribers can select from a variety of topics to ensure they receive the messages that pertain to them, such as:

• Advance Practice Nurse Events
