The Vanderbilt University Medical Center community is invited to attend this year’s State of Nursing address at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 4. This year’s event will be held in room 208 Light Hall.
In her annual speech in conjunction with National Nurses Week, Executive Chief Nursing Officer Marilyn Dubree, M.S.N., R.N., will share highlights from the past year and plans for the future. She will provide insight into VUMC Nursing successes, the commitment of nursing to quality patient care and information about nurse retention efforts.
There will also be a separate Nursing Awards & Recognition Event on Thursday, May 6, from 2-3 p.m. in Langford Auditorium with a reception immediately following.
