Pair lands Emergency Department awards
Vanderbilt's Department of Emergency Medicine recently presented two members of the Medical Center house staff with awards recognizing their service to the ED.
Alfred Mansour, M.D., Orthopaedic Surgery Division, was presented the Best Consultant to the Emergency Department Award. Barry Berch, M.D., Pediatric Surgery Division, was presented the Pediatric Emergency Department Advocate Award.
“I want all of the residents and fellows to understand how much we appreciate their work in the ED,” said Corey Slovis, M.D., chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine.
“I was especially delighted with the two winners because they exemplify a commitment to both expert service and superb customer service."
