The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt tent at the 71st annual running of the Iroquois Steeplechase was a popular place. Among those on hand were, from left, Vanderbilt’s Meg Rush, M.D., Williamson Medical Center’s Lori Orme, R.N., and Vanderbilt’s Jim Hollender, Susan Hernandez, MBA, R.N., and Luke Gregory. Steeplechase has raised more than $9 million to benefit the specialty programs, equipment, research and other needs of Children’s Hospital patients and their families.
