It was a record-breaking night for Vanderbilt University's Dance Marathon, held Feb. 19 and 20. The event, in its eighth year, raised $176,698 for the Craniofacial Treatment Center at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Hundreds of Vanderbilt students participated in the Children's Miracle Network's annual all-night Dance Marathon at the Student Recreation Center.

The largest student-run philanthropic organization on Vanderbilt's campus, Dance Marathon pursues year-round fundraising efforts that culminate in a 14-hour dance event. In its eight years, Dance Marathon has raised $898,468 for Children's Hospital.
